Hypnosis Video Training – Setting Up a Hypnosis Office & Training Center – The Tour, Part 3

In Part 3 of this hypnosis training video, Setting Up a Hypnosis Office & Training Center, we wrap things up. You will see how we set up the rest of the Banyan Hypnosis Center, and we talk a little about how we allow students to take our courses live over the internet.

I start this episode of Hypnosis, Etc, professional hypnotherapy training series in my business office where I make all of my podcasts, but you get to see it from a different perspective.

Next, we check out the IT (Internet Technology) area where we have Taylor working on some Internet marketing projects. He and Chad (who is working the video camera) work full time on our websites. You will also see another workstation where our graphics and video editing tech works, but the chair is empty right now because we recently lost that technician. Hopefully, we will have that position filled again real soon.

Then we proceed through the Banyan Hypnosis Center, and you get to have a look at the General Manager’s office, who many of you know is Maureen Banyan, my wife, (who is the real brains behind all of this). She does all of the business stuff like making sure that the bills are getting paid, the taxes are getting paid and that we keep the money flowing in. (She also makes sure I don’t spend too much time just goofing off.) 🙂

We continue on with the tour and you see Danny’s office. He is our Affiliate & Customer Service Manager. If you want to learn more about our hypnosis affiliate program, to go www.Hypnosis.ORG and click on Join Our Affiliate Program . You will learn how to add an additional stream of income to your practice of hypnotism by recommending books, CDs, DVDs and live courses that we offer.

Next, I show you how our production and shipping area is set up. This is where we produce our hypnosis training materials, on CDs, DVDs. A good example of these training materials that we produce are our 5-PATH® DVD Distance Learning Course, and our 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® course.

We also receive products here that we market for other hypnosis professionals such as Ron Elsinger’s HypnoAnesthesia Pain Management Course. We ship products out every day Monday through Friday.

If you have a quality hypnosis book, CD, DVD or course that you would like us to consider, please let us know, and perhaps we can help you out. A good example of this was brought up by Celeste as she talks about the Quantum Referral Marketing course she recently purchased from us.

Finally, I wrap it up with a visit to our classroom and I show off some of the audio/video equipment as well as the system that we use to stream our courses over the Internet. In case you are wondering about how we do that, I have a blog post about that for you. We have updated the system a bit since I wrote that article, but it will give you a pretty good idea of what it takes to do it well.

To wrap it up, I finally get to answer a hypnosis question from one of our viewers. Whew, I thought that we would never get around to doing that. I talk about what it means if a client is snoring during a session, and we also talk about what it means if a client reports that she saw a lot of vivid colors during her session.

Well, that is it for this episode. Remember to send us your questions. If we use it on the show, we will send you a Certified Hypnosis Pro™ mug. Post your questions in a special forum, we have set up at

We hope you enjoyed the program and tour. If you have any questions about our hypnosis training program, training materials, or how to arrange for sessions at our center, give us a call at 469-969-2176 or 800-965-3390.

This was the part of the tour I was waiting for. It’s the best of the three TOUR episodes! You get to see the real inner workings of everything and you can really see how big it is. Awesome classroom too! Beautiful facility and great info on how to set up a practice. The info is good even if you have a small place.

Oh, don’t miss the question on the end from a hypnotist whose client saw all sorts of color during the session while yet snoring? Is snoring hypnosis? Is it sleep? Find out!

I can see you have lost weight cal…congrats! About The colors thing, when I first started meditation 10 years ago I used to see colors all the time, but the more I did it the less often I saw colors. I believe it was because my eyes were still trying to see even though they were closed. After I got used to the meditation trance I no longer tried to see with my physical eyes and began to see with my minds eye…what do you think?

Hi Jeff – Thanks for leaving us a comment. I think you are on to something there. I remember having the same experience when I started to meditate. I really don’t think seeing colors *usually* means anything. However, there are some people who are really metaphysical/spiritual in their perspective and colors are meaningful to the. It all kind of depends on the client.

Thanks again for leaving a comment.

    Hello Mr. Banyan,

Thanks so much for your gift of guiding hypnotists to do their best work. I very much enjoyed your video regarding setting up an office. I would like to emphasize your description of the need for continuity. I have visted many hypnotists and the lack of continuity between the name or website and the actual office almost deterred me from seeking any additional assistance through hypnotists. Self-hypnosis was working better than the dissapointment of thinking I was going to one environment and ending up in a distinctly different one.

    Very Sincerely,
    Angela Neilson

Sorry about the spelling error! I just saw it. I meant disappointment!

Angela – Thanks for your comment. It really is all about professionalism, and proper representation of one’s practice has got to be done truthfully, or the hypnotist is not professional. The professional will always win. 🙂 Thanks for being a true professional in your approach to hypnosis.
