Cal Banyan’s Hypnosis Training Podcast #13 (right-click and save as…)
Up to now the “5-PATH® Association” has been a virtual association with hundreds of members around the world. We are now moving ahead and will be formalizing the association and establishing Charter Memberships.
The mission of this organization will be to promote the hypnosis profession through promotion of 5-PATH® and other advanced hypnotherapeutic techniques. The association will provide basic and advanced hypnosis training, and provide venues for communication and support between those in the profession, those wanting to enter into the profession, and those outside of the profession who would like to learn more about it, including the media and general public.
To be a member of 5-PATH® IAHP, a candidate must have graduated from a Banyan Hypnosis Center for Training & Services, Inc. approved hypnosis or hypnotherapy course in which 5-PATH® was a major part of the curriculum, and be current on any dues established by the organization.
Here are some of the benefits of 5-PATH® IAHP Membership:
- Inclusion in the online 5-PATH® Hypnosis Directory
- Membership NGH Special Interests Group
- Membership in 5-PATH® support group on Yahoo
- Membership link for websites to credentials page

Together as members of the 5-PATH® IAHP we can build a better future for the profession, as we work with other organizations such as the National Guild of Hypnotists, National Federation of Hypnotists Union and the National Health Freedom Organization. All 5-PATH® Certified Hypnotherapists and other advanced hypnotherapists know that when you do age regression work, some very powerful and painful emotions can come up. And, as a result, some of those clients will not return for more sessions. I call those clients, “Runaways.”
In this Podcast I make some important announcements, and then go over 5 things that you can use to greatly reduce the number of clients who do not come back for their sessions after experiencing a painful age regression session.
Mastering these 5 techniques will greatly enable you do increase your success rate when doing hypnotic age regression therapy. And, as far as I am concerned, age regression therapy is the most powerful tool available to any hypnotist who has learned how to use it effectively.

Afterwards, several doctors came up to me to buy books and have them autographed. They were especially interested in my book, The Secret Language of Feelings. I also found that some of them wanted to talk about sessions for themselves (remember, doctors are people too). I was told that my talk actually brought some of them to tears, and that my talk “resonated” with some of their own issues (I gave them a brief case history about the amazing story of how a client who went through 5-PATH® with me regained his sight, which is a very touching story in itself).
I think that what appealed to this audience most was how old programming from the past can cause so many problems now, ranging from bad habits to addictions, and chronic illness to psychosomatic illness.
All around it was a wonderful experience. My impression of the Kaiser Permanente physicians was that they are a very professional, courteous, attentive and open minded group of medical professionals. I hope to speak to them again some time, and I would love to help them in any way that I can so that they can begin to integrate high level hypnotherapy (i.e. 5-PATH®) into their programs.

I want to pass along any good news pertaining to hypnosis when I run across it. It looks like there is some serious research going on assessing the usefulness of hypnosis in reducing labor pain.
According to Medical News Today: Hypnosis reduces the need for drug pain relief in labor, lessens the need for medications that augment labor and increases the number of spontaneous vaginal births, according to the available data.
