What is hypnosis? And, Recommendations for Hypnotic Inductions

Hi everyone—I am happy to announce our second Podcast program. I hope that you will find it to be fun and informative. I had a wonderful time making it for you.

In this program I take on the topic of what is hypnosis really? Is it trance? Is it like meditation? Are subjects just playing along and being compliant or is something really different happening? Hint, when you have hypnosis, it is much more than just compliance, pretending, or simple trance.

My next topic, what kind of inductions should you use? Next I will tackle the seemingly eternal question. I think we should basically do away with the old-fashioned progressive relaxation induction, and move forward to using more effective and efficient rapid and instant inductions. So in this part of the Podcast I teach you how to do an instant induction, and recommend further resources for learning instant and rapid inductions.

I hope you will give it a listen. And, if you haven’t already, I hope you will take the time to listen to Program #1 which I posted last week.

If you have questions or suggestions for future topics please write a comment below. I am always interested in your feedback and input!
