I remember when I first entered into this profession. It was a pretty lonely thing to do. Like most hypnosis professionals around the world, you may not have many friends in the profession. Fortunately, even way back in 1996 I had the Internet to turn to. Hypnosis groups on the Internet were few, but they did help out a lot.
Since then, I have been a big advocate for these kinds of hypnosis groups and online communities. If you have visited my site before, you know that one of my biggest projects last year was the development and promotion of the www.OurHypnoSpace.com network. It has been a great success and now has hundreds of members from around the world, with all kinds of specialized groups of interest to hypnotists and hypnotherapists. I want to encourage each of you to go there and join the network. You will get a blog, and have the opportunity to interact with others who have similar interests.

It can happen to even the most experienced hypnosis professionals. You either get someone into your office who needs your service right now and you do not have a hypnosis script for that issue, or you think you know what your client is coming in for (after all she said she was coming for smoking cessation on the phone when you made the appointment), and all of a sudden when she gets to your office she says, “I’ve changed my mind. What I would really like to work on is….”
If that hasn’t happened to you yet, then it will. Hopefully you will have a nice library of scripts tucked away where you can get to it just before or during the session. Here is a link to some of my free hypnosis scripts which can be a real “lifesaver”. I also have a some information on my hypnosis scripts book there as well. I hope you will find them useful.
In addition to books, hypnosis professionals also need to have instant access to a great database of hypnosis scripts. Thanks to the Internet such a resource now exists, and I’ve provided you with a table of scripts that you can get for a very reasonable price. I think that most hypnosis professional will find that this is a very valuable resource. Knowing that it is there, whenever you need it, you can proceed with your hypnosis practice feeling just a bit easier.
