The Power of Desire, Belief and Expectation
Excitement, enthusiasm and optimism are the words that best describe how I am feeling these days. For the last couple of weeks or so I have been studying the Premium version of this program, The Science of Getting Rich Seminar Program, and I could not be more pleased with it. Now lets take a close look at Lesson 6: The Power of Desire, Belief and Expectation…
In this lesson you will learn about the attitudes, feelings and emotions that you need to maintain to be successful in creating the life you want. And, surprise! That was given away, at least in part, in the title of the lesson: desire, belief and expectation. Simple right? Well as Bob Proctor says, “the secret to success is not just simply in doing certain things, but rather in doing things in a certain way.”
In this lesson you will find that the first force of power when using the Law of Attraction is desire. You seen if you wan t to maximize the LOA then you need to empower it with emotion. You need to become emotionally involved in having what you want. The lesson will go ahead and show you step by step how to build and then use your desire to do this.
Then the lesson goes on to explain WHY belief is so important to getting what you want using the LOA process, and how belief helps to counteract your negative thinking. I especially like the story he told about the medical experiment that was done on 10 surgical patients (I’m surprised even a doctor would do such a thing and get away with it, must have been one of those “research hospitals ” or something.) I won’t spoil the surprise, so I’ll let you get the lesson and read what happened because of the power of belief.
I also really like the observation, regarding the power of belief in Lesson 6, that sometimes we can set our goals too high, and when we do so we kind of short circuit the whole process. Interesting, I hadn’t thought of that one!
Next comes the power of positive expectations. But wait, maybe I should just stop here. Perhaps that is enough information for now. (I have had emails that say that I give too much away). So I’ll let you get your own lesson and read the rest for yourself.
When you get done studying Lesson 6 it will all start to come together, and you will really find yourself looking forward to Lesson 7.

Hi everyone! Take a look of the snap shot I took of Big Ben as my wife, Maureen and I were riding around in the tour bus. Not bad for a guy hanging off the side of the bus in busy traffic!
We got here a few days early to check out the sites and visit with some of our grads here in London and the surrounding areas.
It has been great fun trying out the English ale, foods and seeing the English country side. It is all wonderful, but soon I will have to get to work! (oops, I may have gone a bit off my diet. We will just have to see how weigh-in goes when I come back. I think there will be time to catch up and still achieve my weight loss goals by convention time.)

Last night I was at a Law of Attraction meeting that we sponsor here at the Banyan Hypnosis Center in Tustin, California. There were a couple of 7th Path Self-Hypnosis Teachers there and one of them made the observation that it was when he saw The Secret movie that he really began to understand how and why 7th Path works! I completely agree with his observation. (7th Path is a mind-body-spirit approach to doing self-hypnosis.)

A few months ago I started a discussion group on Yahoo to write about The Secret movie and the Law of Attraction. One of the members of that group asked me to do something I haven’t done since high school, write a book report! He wanted me to review The Science of Getting Rich, by Wallace D. Wattles. I don’t remember the exact format of what a book report should look like but I decided to go a head and give it a try. I hope you find it useful.
I have to tell you that this is the “little book that roared” and really started the self-improvement movement way back in 1910. I am currently reading and rereading this book and now studying the Science of Getting Rich (SGR) Program produced by Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield and Michael Beckwith, all teachers featured in The Secret movie. And, to tell you the truth I can’t remember when I was ever so excited about something. Everyone needs this. Get the book, and if you like what you read get the SGR Program. It will change your life.
Here is the main premise of the book, “There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. I can form things in my thoughts, and by impressing my thoughts upon formless substance, can cause the thing I think about to be created“.
The book goes on to talk about why and how this works, and how and why you should get good at using this principle. There is also a very good discussion about why we should go from using our minds in a competitive way, and start thinking in a more creative way (Competitive Mind vs. Creative Mind).
