Here are the first 3 keys on the list… 10 Keys to Successful Search Engine Optimization (Get Your Site on Google) – Part 1

1. Page titles and descriptions should be unique. Every page on your website should have a unique title and description.

2. Think about the words users would type to find your pages, and make sure that your site actually includes those words within it. Don’t get spammy.

3. Try to use text instead of images to display important names, content, or links. You can use both.

Hypnosis Etc. viewer question for Cal: When conducting an age regression hypnosis session, what should I do if my client goes forward in time rather than regressing? Cal talks about how to deal with clients who don’t regress as you suggest them to do, and why these problems come up in a hypnosis age regression session. He even talks about the circumstance where not regressing as suggested may be a good thing, or at least, no big deal. Cal also reveals “The Talk” which he uses to motivate clients who are not following suggestions and regressing as directed.

Hypnosis terminology note: Cal uses the following hypnosis terms in this podcast.

• “ISE” means Initial Sensitizing Event, the time when the problem started.

• “SSE” means Subsequent Sensitizing Event, a time after the ISE that reinforces the problem.

This week’s Dumb Hypnotist Trick: Getting a Ph. D. in Hypnosis/ Hypnotherapy. Cal expresses his opinion about getting unaccredited degrees in hypnosis, and how it hurts the profession. He says that these hypnosis “degrees” are not real, and that other professionals will laugh at you if you promote yourself using one of these “unreal degrees.” By the way, Cal would love to hear that there is a real degree program in the USA (meaning regionally accredited and recognized by the US Department of Education), and would be happy to help to anyone who is working to put such a program together.

I received an invitation in my email box today that directed me to a page which contained the following scheme. I’m wondering, do you think that this is ethical? I am changing identifying information from the text below.

It is not my intention to do anything here but to make a point. Identifying this individual would do no one good, the hypnotist would continue in this way despite what I think of such tactics.

The webpage said the following:

$$ Thousands of Dollars in “Thank You Gifts” when you help me drive my book up to #1 on Amazon.com today.

Step 1) Buy the book, (my book) from amazon.com using one of the links on this page.

Step 2) Then order my book from amazon.com.

Step 3) When you get your receipt, forward it to me.

Step 4) Then, I’ll send you an email link to all of those thousands of dollars of gifts that I promised you!

So, what do you think of this approach? Is it ethical? Why would someone want to artificially drive his or her book to a number one position on Amazon.com? The answer is obvious to me. It is being done so that the individual can deceive the public into thinking the new book was really that great and achieved the position through the greatness of the book when really, it was an artificial elevation of the book through graft, excuse me, I mean “gifts”. What do you think? Although I do not name this individual, I will say that this kind of deceitful approach to advertising works, unless you get caught, and the word gets around. I believe that this deceptive approach will work against the individual in the long run.

By the way, the book that I co-authored, Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy: Basic to Advanced Techniques for the Professional, reached number one for the categories of “hypnosis” and “hypnotherapy” without such tactics. I hear it is a pretty good book. When you get a chance have a look.

Well, as you all probably know I am absolutely amazed with the quality and effectiveness of the new program put out by those 3 famous teachers from The Secret movie, Rev. This last weekend I had the great pleasure of reading the original book, the one that started the whole Law of Attraction phenomena, and then inspired The Secret Movie. It is entitled, The Science of Getting Rich, by Wallace D. Wattles, published in 1910!

Wow, I am so glad that I did.It has added greatly to how I want to proceed with this series.

As I read through the book, I made some notes that I am going to share with you today.If you really understand and utilize what I am about to tell you, your practice is just going to grow and grow.But of course, these principles can be used to improve any circumstance, any business or any financial or personal situation.

The Science of Getting Rich: Doing Things in a Certain Way

1. Decide what you want.Crystallize how you want your practice to be.

2. You must believe:

• There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the Universe.

• A thought, (pressed into) this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.

• Man can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created

• In order to do this, man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind; he must form a clear mental picture of the things he wants and hold this picture in his thoughts with the fixed PURPOSE to get what he wants, and the unwavering FAITH that he does get what he wants, closing his mind against all that may tend to shake his purpose, dim his vision, or quench his faith.

3. Never look at the visible supply; look always at the limitless riches in Formless Substance, and KNOW that they are coming to you as fast as you can receive and use them.

4. Always think what you want to think (which is the) TRUTH, regardless of appearances.

5. In dealing with others, always give to everyone more than you take from them.

6. Impress your wants upon Substance using a coherent statement. Know what you want and keep it passionately in your thoughts (using coherent statements).

7. Focus your will on yourself, and not others, for it is by focusing on yourself that you will receive the most benefit.(Don’t try and use this principle to make others do your bidding.)

8. God wants to experience success and all good things through us.

9. The Law of Gratitude: Thankful praise to the Supreme is a liberation or expenditure of force; it cannot fail to reach that to which it is addressed, and the reaction is an instantaneous movement towards you.

10. We can do the most for humanity when we are rich. God wants us to be rich.

Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield, two of the main teachers in “The Secret” movie, bring you another lesson in using the Law of Attraction to get what you want! They teach that prosperity needs to be at the top or at least near the very top of your list of priorities. That is why the program is called, The Science of Getting Rich or SGR Program.

I know that prosperity is important and that is why I am now, in addition to being a hypnotherapist I am also a “Secret” SGR Agent! I want to get this word out as far and as wide as possible. The Secret movie, the Law of Attraction and now the Science of Getting Rich seminar is changing lives all around the world.

Can you tell I’m excited about this?  I am, because when you learn how to prosper (i.e., get rich), you can do much more to make this world a better place than when you are wondering how you are going to make it to the next paycheck!

Now let’s start the discussion about the Free SGR Lesson #3. In this lesson we get to learn about two “Life changing techniques to gain mastery over your thoughts.”  I’ll just discuss one technique here, I know that everyone who is interested in learning more will go to our website, http://banyangroup.thesgrprogram.com and tell us that they want to get all of the free lessons, and I don’t want to spoil the surprise.

I once heard that the most powerful words that you will ever hear are the ones said in the privacy of your own mind. Now as we understand the LOA, we see that our thoughts do more than just direct our actions and affect our mood. They are a huge magnet affecting what we bring into our lives.

So, with thoughts being that important, it is vital that we don’t just let them run around in our heads unmonitored! Did you know that most of what you are thinking is just a reflection of your past? Have you ever heard the saying that goes something like, “If you keep doing what you have been doing, you are going to keep getting what you have been getting”? Well, once you understand the LOA, you know that it could be said a bit differently. Really you could, “If you keep thinking what you have been thinking then you are going to keep attracting what you have been attracting!”

Here is what the teachers are telling us so that we can break free of these old thought patterns. And, as a hypnotherapist, I love how they are focusing on how our thoughts make us feel. Anyone who has read my book, The Secret Language of Feelings knows about this very important thought/feeling connection. (By the way my book was published in 2001, long before the movie came out. Don’t you love coincidences?) Basically, the way you feel is determined by your perceptions, which leads to thoughts, which leads to emotions, which are then manifested in your body as feelings.

Okay, here is the essentials of the 1^st technique:

• Realize that YOU have a LOT to be GRATEFUL for.
• The vibration that comes from feeling gratitude aligns you with the Source.
• Remember, like attracts like, and gratitude sends out the vibe “I have a lot.”

With this in mind you can GREATLY influence your thoughts by purposefully indulging in some gratitude sessions. Some people keep a gratitude journal where they write down the things that they are grateful for that day, week and so on. Others just start off the morning or end the day with a couple of minutes of reminding themselves what they are grateful for. 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® practitioners use the 9^th Recognition to practice the attitude of gratitude daily.

Well, that is it for my initial discussion of Lesson #3 from the SGR. I hope you will take the time to tell us that you want to start receiving the whole set for free. I just got the Second Lesson from “The Secret” teachers and now it is time to go deeper into the Law of Attraction (LOA).

Being a hypnotherapist by profession, I truly appreciate they way that this lesson begins to talk about how the unconscious plays a very large part in your life and what you attract into it. It is time to more conscious about what we are thinking or, we will just let old patterns run our lives and we will keep getting more of what we have been getting, rather than make really great positive changes in our lives.

Also, as a long time student of emotions I also deeply appreciate that this lesson integrates that it is not just what you think that empowers the LOA, it is also, and very much so, what you are feeling! (See my book, The Secret Language of Feelings.)

Here is a little peek into this lesson (not too much, that would not be fair)

Thought + Emotion = Attraction

That is a great piece of wisdom! Another way to say it is, the sum of your thoughts, plus the emotions that they are generating create your world.

Then the lesson goes on to tell you how to make this equation work for you to manifest the life you want, the one you really want, the one that can really excite you. (Gosh, that was fun to write.)

I am glad to see that the lesson talks about why there is a need to talk about prosperity first. So many people feel bad (at least at some level) about wanting to be more prosperous, and even become rich. It really is time to stop thinking in such poverty provoking ways, in my opinion.

Here are some interesting statistics from the first lesson. Take any group of 100 people at the start of their working career and follow them for 40 years until they reach retirement age and here’s what you’ll find, according to the Social Security Administration:

• Only 1 will be wealthy

• 4 will be financially secure

• 5 will continue working, not because they want to but because they have to

• 36 will be dead

• 54 will be dead broke

Then the lesson focuses on how to use the Law of Attraction (LOA) to greatly increase the probability that you will wind up in the top 5%.

I also like the focus on the idea that it isn’t really all about owning a pile of money, but rather how having money offers up so many opportunities to those who have it.

I liked the quote from Jack Canfield, “What we have to get straight in our heads is that owning the money doesn’t mean ANYTHING. It’s the DOING with money that develops us – it’s not in the having. And when you have more, you’re enable to DO more.

I think that most hypnotists have been totally ahead of the curve on this. This is also true for so many people in the metaphysical community or movement. It was for those people, and those people who are new to the idea that I started the Yahoo Discussion Group on The Secret Movie and the Law of Attraction months ago.

I want to personally invite everyone, hypnotists, metaphysicians and all you ‘normal’ folks as well, to check out the wonderful discussion group.

Before I move on, I want everyone to know, that things work a whole lot better as you go about creating your new reality, if you truly and completely release all of the negative energy, habits and destructive self-talk that you has been programmed inside of you during your past (or, at least neutralize a significant part of it as fast as you can). By removing this internal resistance you can maximize the Law of Attraction to attract those positive things into your life much more quickly.

While I’m at it let me offer you this. If you reading this then it is probably about time for you to realize the truth about YOU, and that is that there is NOTHING wrong with you. You are everything you need to be to do everything that you came into this life to do.

Say that to yourself right now. The truth is that there is nothing wrong with me. I am everything that I need to be to do everything that I came into this life to do.

How did that feel? Were you in complete harmony with that statement (at every level of your being)? Can you resonate with that kind of thinking? (Or, was there some discomfort?)

Say it again and again, if there is any resistance to that kind of thinking within you (i.e., you might be able to think it but you feel some discomfort when you do) then you need to do more than just start thinking positively, you see, you need to start feeling positively. The Law of Attraction works best when you combine three things:

1. Align your thoughts with what you want.

2. Align your emotions (feelings) with what you want.

3. Align your actions with what you want.

Finally, there are two specific techniques that that I can offer you, that you can do, or use, or learn, so that you can get rid of any blockage that may be preventing you from doing this. These two techniques work because it IS so important that you release those old blockages.

These techniques, which are really processes, are useful because those negative feelings inside of you, if not removed or neutralize, will continue to either draw more of that which you don’t want to you, or inhibit the positive things that you do want to draw into your life.

Locate a hypnotherapist who has received advanced training like 5-PATH®, or can teach you 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® (a special kind of mind-body-spirit self-hypnosis), or some equivalent process. I want to encourage everyone to begin doing this kind of deep work, it can really change everything in your life in a very positive way.

Larry King had the experts from The Secret Movie on his show this Thursday night and it seemed like just about everyone I know was watching.  As you probably already know, I am a fan of this movie and the teaching of the Law of Attraction.

Over and over the experts on the show said that science proves that our thoughts have an affect on our reality in a very real way. 

The Law of Attraction was discussed and they explained that how you feel, not just what you think, or want will attract people and circumstances into your life.  They say that this is all supported by the laws of physics!

Rev. Michael Beckwith, John Demartini, J. Z. Knight, Bob Proctor,  and John Assarrof were all quite inspiring.  I think that Larry King was won over.

Here are some simple steps that they say that you can do to change your life:

1.  Agree with yourself that it can be better.

2.  Recognize that you have the power to decide how you will interpret how you respond to things that come into your life, especially some of the most difficult things.

3.  Deliberately affirm the things that you want to have, and do, through deliberate repetition.

4.  It really starts with an awareness that you are not doomed to think the way that you do.  You can choose new and different thoughts that will cause you to feel differently, and as a result change your vibration which will bring better things, people and events into your life.

5.  Decide what is really important to you, and what you really want, and that will guide you in the way that you can begin to think.

6.  Stop blaming others and start blaming ignorance and old useless programming.

7.  To find true love in another, you need to first fall in love with yourself.

Find your Soul Mate, make more money, live a happier life, and do it by changing how you think, and as a result you will change how you feel, and eventually begin to attract a better life.

What is that movie about? It is about using the Law of Attraction to bring things into you life and how understanding the “Law” will help you to stop bringing unwanted things into your life.
