I get many inquiries of this nature as well, where people want to stop having urges that they consider immoral. I always recommend that these people seek help from a counselor or therapist who uses hypnosis, but is also trained in gender-specific issues, and also family/marriage dynamics, since there is typically a lot of stress caused in marriage/family relationships with this kind of thing. I am relieved to see from your response that I have not been mistaken in whether or not this "changing preferences" was possible or even a good idea...
