Interview with Marc Mallat, CH, CPHI, PhD

Welcome to my latest Podcast, an interview with Marc Mallat, CH, CPHI, PhD, who lives in Lebanon and serves the community of Middle East nations and Paris, France.  He speaks English, French and Arabic. He is a very caring, professional and charismatic individual who is an excellent instructor as well as hypnotherapist.

Marc works full time in the profession of hypnotism as a hypnotherapist, speaker and trainer.  In this interview, Marc talks about how he came into the profession, tells us about his practice and gives a pointer of two on how to improve your hypnotherapy practice.

Highlights from the interview include:

  • The importance of insight therapies such as age regression work.

  • What works with anxiety problems resulting from living in a war zone.

  • Why it is important that you go beyond mere “direct suggestion” hypnosis.

  • Talks about DFEs and Spirit Attachments.

  • How to handle TV opportunities.

  • Why 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® is so interesting.

  • Why you should do instant and rapid inductions.

  • Learn about the AIAR Induction (pronounced as “Air Induction").

  • What he thinks the future of the hypnosis profession looks like.

I appreciate Marc taking the time to do this interview while he was at the Banyan Hypnosis Center for Training & Services, Inc. taking the 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® Ultimate Recognitions Course for teachers (a grueling 3 day workshop certification course).

Marc is an avid 5-PATHer and CPHI (Professional Certified Hypnosis Instructor), which means he is able to teach our NGH Approved Hypnosis Certification Course (with 5-PATH® and 7th Path Self-Hypnosis®). Marc is scheduling courses now in his area please contact him by email at marcmallat@hotmail.com. I want to encourage those seeking training or services in his area to contact him.

Note: Marc Mallat is no longer a trainer for the Banyan Hypnosis Center. His status as a Certified Professional Hypnotherapy Instructor was revoked in 2009.

Hmmm… Enjoyed watching this early podcast Cal & was wondering how Marc was going now, all these years later. I know that sadly his part of the world is still not a particularly peaceful place. 😔

I’m sorry to see his instructor status was revoked because I think he was right that 7th Path was needed in his part of the world. But, what I know about you Cal, I do believe that you must have had a very good reason to make that decision.

Anyway, I do hope all is well.

    Susan

Hi Susan – You are very right “his part of the world” could really use 7th Path.

We don’t know what Marc is doing now. We wish him wellness and safety.

    Cal

Marc Mallat has helped me tremendously through a personal crisis and is constantly helping so many others like me, people who have been suffering awfully at the hands of so-called professionals (who didn’t even know what they were doing). I had been seeing “expert professionals” for years before I met him, and before he completely transformed my life to the better, forever; and I also know many others whose lives he transformed for the better.

I was recommending Marc Mallat to a friend who needed help and I was really shocked to see the link (here) which she sent me when she was looking him up on the Internet. She started blaming me for recommending someone whose “status was revoked”, foolishly thinking that he was ONLY certified by the Banyans center, while the matter of the fact is that he is a competent hypnotherapy practitioner, with tons of other certifications and qualifications and decades of experience in hypnotherapy…

It is so sad to see that someone who is a colleague would use words which could hurt someone else’s reputation and prevent them from helping others…

Marc Mallat has done and is still doing wonders in “his part of the world” because he is very competent at hypnotherapy and does it from the heart.

If you’ll please excuse me for saying this: using words such as “His status as a Certified Professional Hypnotherapy Instructor was revoked in 2009” in general without clarifying that it was only “revoked” from the Banyan Hypnosis Center specifically, will make people, like my friend who led me to you, think that he was not who everybody knows he is – a caring and competent therapist.

I do wish you all the best, as I always wish Marc.

    Kindest regards and respect,

    Maria
