SGR Lesson #3 Is All About Getting Thinking in Alignment with What You WANT to Attract :-)

I once heard that the most powerful words that you will ever hear are the ones said in the privacy of your own mind. Now as we understand the LOA, we see that our thoughts do more than just direct our actions and affect our mood. They are a huge magnet affecting what we bring into our lives.

So, with thoughts being that important, it is vital that we don’t just let them run around in our heads unmonitored! Did you know that most of what you are thinking is just a reflection of your past? Have you ever heard the saying that goes something like, “If you keep doing what you have been doing, you are going to keep getting what you have been getting”? Well, once you understand the LOA, you know that it could be said a bit differently. Really you could, “If you keep thinking what you have been thinking then you are going to keep attracting what you have been attracting!”

Here is what the teachers are telling us so that we can break free of these old thought patterns. And, as a hypnotherapist, I love how they are focusing on how our thoughts make us feel. Anyone who has read my book, The Secret Language of Feelings knows about this very important thought/feeling connection. (By the way my book was published in 2001, long before the movie came out. Don’t you love coincidences?) Basically, the way you feel is determined by your perceptions, which leads to thoughts, which leads to emotions, which are then manifested in your body as feelings.

Okay, here is the essentials of the 1^st technique:

• Realize that YOU have a LOT to be GRATEFUL for.
• The vibration that comes from feeling gratitude aligns you with the Source.
• Remember, like attracts like, and gratitude sends out the vibe “I have a lot.”

With this in mind you can GREATLY influence your thoughts by purposefully indulging in some gratitude sessions. Some people keep a gratitude journal where they write down the things that they are grateful for that day, week and so on. Others just start off the morning or end the day with a couple of minutes of reminding themselves what they are grateful for. 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® practitioners use the 9^th Recognition to practice the attitude of gratitude daily.

Well, that is it for my initial discussion of Lesson #3 from the SGR. I hope you will take the time to tell us that you want to start receiving the whole set for free. Great Training Op for Hypnotists – If You Qualify

Seriously, Dr. Richard Harte’s program is not for everyone. But, if you qualify, it could be the most important training you have ever had.  Dr. Harte specializes in bringing hypnosis skills to corporations, and he is going to teach a select few how to do it. Who will these select few be? To qualify for this training you must be a dedicated hypnotist or hypnotherapist who has hypnosis skills. This is not an entry level program and there will be no time used to teach you how to hypnotize. You must also be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a business environment.

Why is he being so stringent? After completing the course, Dr. Harte is going to personally mentor you for one year to make sure that you are “really getting” what he taught you in class so that you can be successful.

Who is Dr. Harte to be so picky?  Well, he is a very successful corporate consultant himself who has worked with corporations for years and turned hypnosis into a product that his corporate clients value so much that they pay him thousands of dollars in retainer fees! Yes, I said retainer fees (talk about developing a significant and consistent cash flow, this would definitely be a way to do just that).

Did You Receive the Free Lesson #2 from “The Secret” Teachers?

I just got the Second Lesson from “The Secret” teachers and now it is time to go deeper into the Law of Attraction (LOA).

Being a hypnotherapist by profession, I truly appreciate they way that this lesson begins to talk about how the unconscious plays a very large part in your life and what you attract into it. It is time to more conscious about what we are thinking or, we will just let old patterns run our lives and we will keep getting more of what we have been getting, rather than make really great positive changes in our lives.

Also, as a long time student of emotions I also deeply appreciate that this lesson integrates that it is not just what you think that empowers the LOA, it is also, and very much so, what you are feeling! (See my book, The Secret Language of Feelings.)

Thought + Emotion = Attraction

That is a great piece of wisdom! Another way to say it is, the sum of your thoughts, plus the emotions that they are generating create your world.

Then the lesson goes on to tell you how to make this equation work for you to manifest the life you want, the one you really want, the one that can really excite you. (Gosh, that was fun to write.)

As I mentioned in previous blog announcements, we were very fortunate to see Roy Hunter while he was here in California. I approached him about coming on my hypnosis blog and doing a series of video Podcasts with me. He was enthusiastic about it and we went right into our classroom where we conduct our hypnosis training programs.

Before we start the video, I want to tell you that this is just the beginning! Roy Hunter’s Parts Therapy Training comes to the Banyan Hypnosis Center. After we completed recording of these programs, Roy Hunter agreed to set a date to come back to our hypnosis center to conduct a two day workshop on Parts Therapy on September 22nd & 23rd of 2007 .
