Reuters: Hypnosis relieves chest pain

More and more medical evidence continues to mount. According to a report by Reuters New Service, a researchers’ article in the medical journal Gut, many patients still have symptoms even after treatment with gastric acid-lowering drugs and antidepressants. Dr Peter J Whorwell and colleagues at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester have previously shown that functional gastrointestinal disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome, respond well to hypnotherapy.
And, one thing that can be said for hypnosis than cannot be said for many medical treatments, it never hurts to use hypnosis. It is just about the least invasive prodedure that can be applied to any medical, or psychological condition.
Contact a certified hypnotist near you, and he or she can help you to talk to your doctor about using hypnosis. Here is a good place to start, the Hypnotist Directory.
