 I ran across this articile today on the Independent Online, a UK publication. In that article, it says, “A surgeon will tonight attempt to perform the first operation to be broadcast on live television using hypnosis as the anaesthetic. Tom Hennigan , a consultant surgeon at the Princess Royal Hospital in Farnborough, Kent, will repair a hernia, making an incision in the groin.” Read the Article
