 NEWS Flash  I just heard that a new show is airing on PBS that is going to take a look at “clinics across the country [where they are], integrating the best of high-tech medicine with new attitude that recognizes it is essential to the healing process to treat the patient as a whole person…” Do I hear, “mind-body-spirit”? Yes I think I do.
 The two hour documentary will be hosted by Dana Reeve, who was diagnosed with lung cancer and past away a couple of days ago! If you don’t know her then you probably know her famous husband, Christopher Reeve who was paralyzed in a horseback riding accident some years ago.
In The New Medicine, they are going to look at topics such as
- Helping clients to heal themselves
- Self-Hypnosis
- Meditation
- Acupuncture
- Yoga
- Spirituality
 I want to encourage everyone to check it out. When there are good audiences for this kind of programming it stands to reason that there will be more of these kinds of shows and I believe that this kind of programming can open the door for hypnotherapists everywhere (as long as they don’t say something dumb like make sure your hypnotist is a licensed physician or psychologist, or something like that).
